| You’re Invited! International Day of the Girl Luncheon  Reserve Your Place at the Table We have a wonderful luncheon planned for you! Videos and an opportunity to hear from our co-founders about all of the exciting things going on at LOH.   “Look Mary, you’re being rescued!”   In August, our team of volunteers rescued Mary to join her twin sister Jane and sister Margaret who were rescued in July. She was living with her Auntie at the time, and we were unable to find her. The sisters are adjusting well and glad to be together again! Wonderful Friends Visited     Water Project in Progress When it comes to timing there is nothing like God’s perfect will! Thanks to gifts from our church partnership and a generous donor we are able to begin digging trenches and preparing the water to go into a 200,000 liter water harvesting tank on all areas of our property, from the main school to the future vocational school site. Our 16 acres will no longer flood which makes it hard for the girls to get around during the spring rains. We will capture the water to be used for the animals, gardens, etc. Thank you for this gift!    Little One’s Get a Computer Lab The little girls now have access to 20 tablets to start to learn how to work computers and play STEM games. They are having a blast learning!   Thank you Twins Volunteers! This summer we had a blast volunteering at 5 Twins games and raised more money than ever – $8,000!!
