Harnessing our collective power for good.

I have been able to see first hand how the support and fundraising benefits these amazing girls and brings such joy to their lives. I can’t wait to go back and see what else has been able to happen because of these great gifts!”

Start your own fundraiser.

Fundraising for girls education is the single greatest way you can contribute to the fight against global poverty. All it takes is a little initiative and creativity. In 2013, Light of Hope fundraisers generated more than 30% of our revenue – support that goes a long way toward empowering these bright, young girls and giving them a more promising future.

From teacher salaries and new construction, to utilities and facilities maintenance, the combined efforts of our fundraisers make a difference each and every day.

Want to lend a hand?  Please join us for a Light of Hope fundraising event – or start one of your own.

  • Collect donations when you run a road race on behalf of our scholars.
  • Request donations in lieu of wedding or birthday gifts.
  • Collect contributions during school lunches, extracurricular activities, community events, farmers markets, and more.
  • Set a fundraising goal for family and friends. Then, reward them when you dye your hair orange or swim with sharks. (Don’t forget to send us a picture!)

Reach out to us and we’ll make arrangements to collect your contribution to Light of Hope Home & School for Girls.

Everyone can make a difference. 5-year-old Liam, for example, turned his birthday into a fundraiser for Light of Hope.

A little bit makes a big difference.

My friend and I created the ‘Gather for Girls’ event with the specific goal of raising funds to provide new uniforms for all the girls at Light of Hope. Through the generosity of our families, friends, and neighbors, we met our goal!

A little bit from a lot of people can make a big difference.”
